Behind the Scenes
Carmen has worked with Gert and all of us here at HT Mortgage Group for a long time now! She works as an unlicensed assistant to Gert Martens and is always ready to help!
DLC’s HT Mortgage Group is happy to introduce our newest team member, Alycia Larocque! Alycia came to us in 2018 after working as a personal banking specialist at ATB for three 3 years. We are happy to have her as part of Gert Martens Team, along with Jodi Scotton.
“At Atb, I had a chance to work with lots of entrepreneurs and small business owners. Understanding the complexity of our local businesses will give me an edge for helping small business owners get mortgages. (Or large business owners, I’m not picky!)
I was born here in In Grande Prairie but I grew up in London, ON. I went to Fanshawe College for Psychology.
Nowadays I’m back in Grande Prairie with my boyfriend Kyle, my son Emerson and our dog JD. We are a very active family and spend a ton of time outdoors. When we’re not spending time with family, you can find us at the ball diamonds in and around Grande Prairie playing slo-pitch. In the winter we watch a lot of hockey as my boyfriend coaches for GPAC Bantam AAA storm.
I look forward to working alongside everyone here at HT Mortgage Group and assisting with all your home financing needs!
I’m the office manager here at HT Mortgage Group. I started in the finance industry back in 2010, doing mortgages and financial planning. Right now I’m focusing on keeping our team running smoothly so you can get your mortgage quicker.
Growing up, I always had the goal to be a homeowner, and my most rewarding clients have always been in the mortgage industry. I love reading Apartment therapy and watching property brothers, always endless inspiration for my own house! In my spare time I enjoy taking my little dogs for a walk, hiking and playing board games over at Cards Cafe. (Which is next door now!) Also doodling reno plans. If you need a cheap reno plan doodled, I may be your person.
In the near future, I’m hoping you notice our Facebook page & website getting a little more dynamic as I meddle and post more pictures to them. Also feel free to ask us questions on facebook, or by email– and I can connect you with a broker who can give an honest answer from someone who’s here, right now, working in the industry.
