Daina Stringer has been a Grande Prairie resident for 25 years, after being transplanted from being a Saskatchewan girl. She was raised in the little town of Swift Current, SK . The little town she loved gave her the drive to expand her surroundings and talent. GP quickly became home. Being a naturally, outdoorsy girl, Daina now loves all that Grande Prairie has to offer. She is married and has two wonderful, now grown, children who are her pride and joy. She loves anything to do with being outdoors- camping, hiking etc. and loves to travel.
Daina has a passion for what she does. She gets satisfaction knowing that she can help people understand and feel comfortable with the process of purchasing a home. She prides herself in alleviating the stress of purchasing a home as much as possible. She makes known to her clients that they are not just numbers but real people, making one of the biggest decisions of their life.
Being in the Mortgage Business for 17 years has derived a mass knowledge and skillset for matching the perfect mortgage product to the consumer no matter where she hung her mortgage hat. Daina made the move from one of Canada’s Big 5 Banks to the independent Mortgage Broker Industry. The choice to join Canada’s largest Mortgage Brokerage Company in 2012 was a huge leap forward on how she could assist Canadians with all their mortgage needs. This has given her the opportunity to not only offer clients a wider range of mortgage products, but also the ability to get to know her clients on a more personal level.
Working for one bank meant only one lender was offered. Under the economic scale of Dominion Lending Centres, she can now offer her clients options from ALL of Alberta’s Mortgage Lenders. Consumers have more options than just banks. There are many amazing lender choices out there from banks to Credit Unions to Monolenders to Trust companies and even Private Mortgage Investment Companies (MIC’s). More options simply mean better service!
